Background
Aarti is a seasoned HR professional with more than 21 years experience across a multiple sectors. After a rich Corporate HR career in diverse companies, with her last role being the HR Director in a regional African company, she has transitioned back to her passion for Consulting. She has joined BI Instruments Ltd. as Senior HR Consultant, assisting clients in Africa and the Middle East.
She counts more than 15 years’ experience in Leadership roles in organisations both at local level (private and parastatal) as well as within multinationals, where she has built her expertise in the areas of Business and HR Strategy, Human Capital Management and Organizational Development.
She has a proven track record of influencing strategic decisions, formulating and implementing HR strategies, driving organisational change, and building high performance teams.
Her various roles as a hands-on HR practitioner, HR Consultant and certified DDI Facilitator enable her to leverage on her pragmatic and applied business experience to transform people strategy into implementable actions with results. She focuses on building positive and productive employee experiences that allow organisations to harness the power of their people and specialises in developing winning strategies to support fast paced business growth and operational excellence.
Aarti is a Fellow member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD) and has had extensive exposure to Board of Directors procedures and governance.
Over the last 6 years within a Regional African Company, her key achievements were:
Mobilized 2 UN Mission Projects for MONUSCO in The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and MINUSCA in The Central African Republic (CAR).
Revamped the whole HR Function to achieve a plug-and-play model to ensure standardization, coherence, governance, and controls irrespective of the geographical location of the business unit.
Work remotely from Head Office in Mauritius/Dubai with teams spread in the different countries around Africa – Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, DRC, CAR.
Set up and run an Internal Business School for the upskilling of Hashi Employees and completed the Program with more than 50 employees across multiple geographies.
